“FREE May 26th Event Highlighting Civil War & World War II at Averasboro Museum”

            The Averasboro Museum will offer a free history demonstration event to the public on Saturday, May 26, 2018, 10 AM-4 PM, featuring activities related to the Civil War and World War II.  The event will feature such activities as weapons firing, military vehicles, and a detailed, miniature World War II Weapons and Tank Display.

          Director of Operations for the Averasboro Battlefield Commission, C. C. Livingston said, “This promises to be a family event which will teach several aspects of history during the conflicts of World War II and the Civil War.  We are most fortunate that David Stanley of Eastover has put the programming for this exciting event together for us.”

          The Averasboro Museum is located at 3300 NC Highway 82, Dunn, NC.
